We're not doctors, so the real answer is: ask yours. That said, here's what we tell people.
NerVana+ is a topical, drug-free supplement. It's not a medication and it doesn't enter your bloodstream the way a pill does. The ingredients (magnesium, B12, ALA, folic acid) are nutrients your body uses every day. Most customers use NerVana+ alongside whatever their doctor has them on, including gabapentin, Lyrica, duloxetine, metformin, statins, and blood thinners.
That said, two cases where you should definitely check with your doctor first:
- If you're on a B12 deficiency protocol, your doctor needs to know you're adding more B12 to the mix.
- If you have any history of allergic reaction to magnesium chloride, alpha-lipoic acid, or medical adhesives, don't use NerVana+ without talking to them.
Other than those, most people just slot NerVana+ into their nightly routine alongside their existing meds. Some have used the patches to wean off gabapentin over time, but that's a conversation for you and your doctor. Not us.
